C#/.NET Software Developer

About the role

Join ABB's Operations Center in Ostrava to develop cutting‑edge software for industrial automation and digitalisation. You will work on projects that connect control systems via OPC technologies and create tools that modernise legacy control code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software products that integrate with OPC UA / OPC DA, SCADA, MES and ERP systems.
• Collaborate in small agile teams (2‑5 members) on international projects, following the full development lifecycle.
• Design and implement user interfaces using WPF, WinForms or Blazor.

Required profile

• Good command of English (minimum B2+ level).
• Experience with .NET development in C#, object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
• Proactive attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• .NET, C#, WPF, WinForms, Blazor.
• OPC UA / OPC DA communication.
• Git, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Copilot.
• Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL (advantage).
