Commis Chef – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Prague is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join its culinary team. Working in a historic luxury setting, you will support the kitchen staff in delivering high‑quality dishes while gaining valuable experience in a world‑class hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations within an assigned kitchen station.
• Assist in preparing menu items and specials according to established standards.
• Complete mise en place and ensure proper station setup before service.
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
• Communicate effectively with senior chefs regarding shortages or operational needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients after service.
• Adhere to HACCP and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support timely and efficient food service delivery.
• Assist the team with additional tasks and kitchen operations as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen.
• Good understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Fluency in English.
• Culinary or hospitality certification is an advantage.
