Contract Negotiator - FSP, Czech Republic

About the role

IQVIA, a global provider of clinical research services, healthcare intelligence and commercial insights, is looking for a Contract Negotiator in Prague. The role supports the development of investigator grants, contracts and proposals for clinical trials, working closely with sponsors, study teams and Quality Management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of investigator grants and estimates, contracting strategies and proposal text to support the proposal process.
• Develop contract language and budget templates as required by the position.
• Maintain contracting systems, tools, processes and training materials for selected sponsors, studies or multi-protocol programs, within the agreed project strategy.
• Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders and regional units to deliver the project scope in line with sponsor requirements and the RSU Management Plan.
• Provide specialist legal, operational and financial contracting support to Study Teams on site agreements, helping initiate and run clinical trials while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Ensure contracting efficiency, adherence to project timelines and financial goals, and report performance metrics and out-of-scope activities.
• Work with Quality Management on contract management and quality standards, and mentor and coach colleagues, including delivering training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 2 years of relevant experience in sponsor or clinical research organization site contracting.
• Experience negotiating clinical trial agreements with sites in the Czech Republic.
• Fluent English.
• Good negotiating and communication skills, with the ability to challenge.

Required skills

• Understanding of the regulated clinical trial environment and the drug development process.
• Good understanding of clinical trial contract management.
