Customer Experience Agent

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Customer Experience Agent to join its logistics team in Hungary or Czechia. The role involves managing end‑to‑end shipment processes and delivering tailored solutions to our global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the complete shipment lifecycle, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as the orchestrator of shipment flow, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission.
• Resolve queries from customers, shippers, sales teams and other parties promptly.
• Maintain a customer‑centric approach, proactively preventing errors and supporting retention.
• Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities and collaborate with the Commercial team.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and internal guidelines.
• Monitor KPIs, ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements and produce required reports.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and Hungarian or Czech, depending on location.
• Experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably within logistics or freight forwarding.
• Good understanding of logistics products, processes and terminology.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong communication, influencing and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a matrix, multicultural environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with attention to detail and self‑motivated attitude.
