Customer Trainer - da Vinci Surgical Systems

About the role

Intuitive, a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery, is looking for a Customer Trainer in Prague. Reporting directly to the regional Training Manager, the trainer delivers da Vinci System technology training and facilitates surgeon-led training for surgeons, first assistants and OR staff from specialties such as urology, gynecology, general and cardiothoracic surgery. The role also supports continuous improvement of training programs and training research.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver da Vinci Surgical System training at designated training centers and remote centers
• Lead and support specialized training programs and society events, including the needs of surgeon educators and participants
• Run surveys to measure program effectiveness and act as subject matter expert for internal projects
• Help develop training materials, protocols and training research initiatives
• Work with commercial and distribution partners to run in-services and skills development on new and established products
• Occasionally support the da Vinci System in a hospital operating room and troubleshoot and maintain it at the training center
• Manage training center logistics, inventory and calendars, and maintain capital equipment including cleaning and sterilization of instruments
• Support relationships between training center personnel and ISI management and contribute to quarterly goals

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Clinical or Health Sciences, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Communications or Education
• Fluent English and Czech; Polish beneficial
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and to lift up to 50 lbs
• Professional training experience, clinical and/or operating room experience, and medical-device experience preferred
