Cyber-security Professional Consultant

About the role

The Cybersecurity Professional Services Consultant deploys and implements Thales data security solutions in customer enterprise environments. This highly technical, hands‑on, customer‑facing position works closely with sales, R&D and product management to deliver secure encryption, key‑management and data‑protection solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation lifecycle of Thales security solutions for enterprise customers.
• Gather requirements, define project scope and develop implementation plans aligned with security and compliance goals.
• Design secure key‑management, encryption and access‑control architectures using Thales HSM and CipherTrust solutions.
• Perform hands‑on installation, configuration, integration, testing and validation of data‑security products.
• Provide training, best‑practice guidance, documentation and knowledge transfer to customer teams.
• Present solutions and project updates to technical and executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, organized and analytical with strong service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines and adapt to changing environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % and obtain EU security clearance.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CipherTrust Manager, CipherTrust Transparent Encryption and CipherTrust Cloud Key Manager.
• Experience with database encryption (Microsoft SQL Server TDE, Oracle TDE).
• Knowledge of cryptographic protocols such as KMIP, PKCS#11, REST API, SNMP and TLS.
• Key and certificate lifecycle management.
• Scripting/automation using Python, Java or PowerShell.
• Strong technical documentation abilities.
