Cybersecurity Specialist for Prague & Rakovník Sites

About the role

We are looking for a Sites Cybersecurity Specialist to join Valeo’s R&D Center in Prague, responsible for the cybersecurity of both the Prague and Rakovník sites. You will act as the main point of contact for all security matters, coordinate local stakeholders and help protect our automotive technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary cybersecurity liaison for the Prague and Rakovník sites.
• Coordinate local cybersecurity initiatives and stakeholders.
• Deploy, monitor and continuously improve the Valeo Information Systems Security Policy (ISSP) on site.
• Ensure compliance with the ISSP, manage site‑specific rules or exemptions, and report non‑compliance.
• Identify, report and manage abnormal security events or incidents, supporting mitigation and recovery.
• Report regularly to the Regional Cybersecurity Officer.
• Promote a strong cybersecurity mindset across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Fluency in Czech and English (written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s licence (category B) and willingness to travel to Rakovník every two weeks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as ISO 2700x, NIST, NIS.
• Experience with malware analysis, patch management and firewall configuration.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, network, system, database and application security.
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity standards or technical domains (advantageous).
