Data Analyst Intern – Financial Crime Team

About the role

Join PwC's Financial Crime team as a Data Analyst Intern and help fight money laundering and financial fraud. You will work on real client projects, analysing customer and transaction data to generate actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Work on client engagements: assess, validate and optimise systems for detecting financial crime.
• Analyse customer and transaction data, transform it and assess data quality.
• Create data pipelines, automated controls and visualisations using SQL and Python.
• Communicate findings with clients and contribute to engagement proposals.

Required profile

• Currently studying a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or Finance.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL, with interest in data analysis and statistics.
• Curiosity about Financial Crime and AML, and good written and spoken English.
