Data and AI Governance Consultant

About the role

Billigence is a global Business Intelligence, Data Analytics & AI consultancy that helps clients turn data into actionable insights. As a Data and AI Governance Consultant you will ensure that AI solutions are built on trustworthy, well‑governed data and that clients can safely leverage generative AI across their organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance and cataloguing solutions using tools such as Collibra, Dawiso, Ataccama, Atlan, Coalesce and Confluence.
• Create the AI context layer – business glossaries, semantic models, data lineage and metadata – to enable RAG and agentic solutions to answer questions in the client’s language.
• Define data quality and observability rules that keep data and AI outputs reliable.
• Assist clients in establishing AI governance by cataloguing use cases, models and agents, and setting ownership and regulatory controls.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into concrete technical solutions.
• Act as a bridge between business and IT, communicating with analysts, managers and technical teams.
• Deliver end‑user training and enablement sessions to ensure adoption of the solutions.
• Share knowledge through internal webinars, tech talks and community sessions.

Required profile

• Strong background in Business Intelligence and solid understanding of data governance or data‑management principles.
• Experience with data governance frameworks, data catalogues or visualization tools.
• Curiosity about enterprise GenAI, RAG, agents and AI governance, with the ability to separate hype from real value.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude and ownership mindset.
• Fluent in Czech and English at a professional level.
