About the role
As part of Deutsche Börse Group’s digital transformation, the Big Data & Advanced Analytics team is looking for a DevOps Engineer to build, operate and continuously improve enterprise Data Quality and Data Catalog platforms. You will work closely with data governance, engineering and business teams to deliver trusted, discoverable and high‑quality data across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Implement, administer and enhance Data Quality and Data Catalog platforms in line with governance and operational requirements.
- Develop automation, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, GitHub and cloud services to boost platform efficiency, scalability and reliability.
- Manage day‑to‑day platform operations – user onboarding, access management, configuration, monitoring, incident resolution and vendor coordination.
- Support data‑governance initiatives by enabling metadata management, data‑quality controls, catalog structures, business glossaries and platform adoption.
- Monitor platform health, observability and operational metrics, proactively identify improvement opportunities and maintain documentation, standards and support processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering or technical platform operations.
- Hands‑on expertise with Terraform, Infrastructure‑as‑Code, cloud platforms (preferably GCP), automation scripting and CI/CD tools.
- Solid understanding of Data Quality, Data Catalog, Metadata Management and Data Governance concepts.
- Experience with enterprise data‑management solutions such as Soda, Atlan, Collibra, Alation or similar.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, platform administration, access management and operational support processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder‑management skills; fluent English.
