Demand Planner – Desktop Thin Clients

About the role

The PS Category Operations Team drives the worldwide demand forecast for HP's Personal Systems products, and the ACS Demand Planning Team forecasts worldwide demand for Workstations, Cloud Clients and Point of Sale products. This role covers demand planning for the Desktop Thin Clients product family. The incumbent loads the forecast so the business can meet fiscal and calendar shipment goals, maximizes order conversion, keeps excess and obsolescence low and meets forecast accuracy targets.

Key responsibilities

• Load the demand plan for the assigned products
• Align forecasts to fiscal and calendar quarter shipment goals
• Align the demand plan to the product life cycle
• Manage connect rates for key components and sub-assemblies
• Maintain a high level of forecast accuracy while meeting the above points
• Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives in the category operations area

Required profile

• Experience in a high-complexity global supply chain environment delivering complex manufactured products
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience
• Experience analysing large sets of data
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management, from Product Marketing to Business Management
