Dermatologist – Medical Director

About the role

Medpace is seeking a board‑certified Dermatologist to serve as Medical Director, providing scientific and strategic leadership for dermatology clinical trials. The role combines medical oversight, safety management, and contribution to study documentation while supporting new project development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical management and expertise for dermatology clinical trials.
• Contribute medical content to study reports, regulatory submissions, and manuscripts.
• Manage safety issues and work closely with associates on trial evaluation and assessment.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal and sponsor meetings.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams throughout feasibility, design, execution, and reporting phases.
• Ensure strict adherence to research protocols and internal policies.

Required profile

• MD degree or equivalent; board certification and active medical licensure preferred.
• Prior experience in clinical trial research, preferably within pharmaceutical‑related studies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead medical aspects of multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
