Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to create and maintain 2D and 3D models for turbocharging and related technologies. The role supports product development by delivering accurate drawings, performing analyses, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D drawings using OnShape and CATIA.
• Conduct stack‑up analyses and lightweight FEA studies.
• Prepare 3‑D models for TMF (Thermal‑Mechanical‑Fatigue) analyses.
• Update and modify existing technical documentation and 3D drawings.
• Work closely with the CAD team and Development Engineers to ensure design intent.
• Participate in knowledge‑sharing meetings, Turbo University program, and present work results.
• Generate ideas for product or process cost reduction and apply descriptive statistics to critical tolerances.

Required profile

• Technical University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ISO/ASME standards for automotive documentation.
• Experience with FEA analysis and CAD tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
