Desktop Engineer L1

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Engineer L1 to provide first‑line IT support for a brewery production environment. The role involves on‑site installation, configuration and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, mobile devices and related peripherals while ensuring compliance with information security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Perform on‑site updates, software installations, security patches and OS builds for new joiners.
• Maintain 100 % SLA for incidents and service requests, including break‑fix coordination with offshore teams and third‑party vendors.
• Provide technical support for special events, conferences and Teams meeting rooms.
• Manage and protect physical IT assets and participate in weekly/monthly customer meetings.
• Travel to nearby customer locations as needed and be on‑call for critical issues outside business hours.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in desktop support or similar IT role.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in a production environment with PPE.
• Proven ability to meet SLA targets and handle incident/request ticketing.

Required skills

• Windows operating system troubleshooting.
• Dell hardware knowledge.
• Basic understanding of servers, network devices, firewalls and cabling.
• Network troubleshooting basics.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
