Development Engineer

About the role

Schaeffler, a global technology company working with major car manufacturers and key players in aerospace and industry, is looking for a Development Engineer in Svitavy. The role covers system architecture evaluation, requirements work and the development of technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate system architectures to choose the best alternative that meets stakeholder and system requirements.
• Develop and manage system requirements based on stakeholder needs.
• Develop a technical solution that meets the requirements and complies with current standards, including analysis, evaluation and mitigation of design risks.
• Share development information and collaborate with internal and external partners on system elements such as E/E, software, subsystems and components, with production, customers and verification and validation.
• Apply the given system development processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Natural Science or similar.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Project management experience.
• Fluent English.
