Director, Clinical FSP Go-to-Market & Therapeutic Strategy Lead

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a senior leader to drive its Clinical Functional Service Provider (FSP) go‑to‑market strategy and therapeutic strategy initiatives. The role bridges key customers with IQVIA’s FSP solutions, guiding the design, positioning and delivery of flexible clinical outsourcing models from early engagement through bid defense.

Key responsibilities

• Translate IQVIA’s FSP strategy and value proposition into compelling customer‑facing messaging and solution narratives.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development and account teams to identify, shape and progress priority FSP opportunities through RFIs, RFPs and proposals.
• Develop reusable sales enablement materials such as capability decks, battle cards, case studies and client‑ready presentations.
• Lead structured early‑engagement activities including discovery workshops, capability presentations and proactive account planning.
• Collaborate across CFSP, Operations, Therapeutic Centers of Excellence, Technology, Pricing and Marketing to build integrated, feasible customer solutions.
• Contribute to proposal strategy, response development and bid defense, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics and innovation themes to continuously refine the GTM narrative.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in clinical research, clinical operations, FSP outsourcing or drug development.
• Deep understanding of Clinical FSP delivery models, including functional outsourcing, hybrid FSP/FSO and hub‑based delivery.
• Proven ability to support RFIs, RFPs, proposals and bid defenses with strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills, capable of simplifying complex operational topics.
• Strong cross‑functional leadership and influencing skills within matrix organisations.
• Comfort with financial modelling, pricing logic and contribution margin considerations.
• Technologically confident, able to leverage data, business intelligence and digital tools for opportunity strategy.
