Electronic Design Engineer – Compute

About the role

We are seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to join our team working on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). You will be responsible for designing, testing and validating electronic circuits that meet customer requirements and Valeo product specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate customer requirements against product specifications.
• Modify and design electronic circuits (microprocessor, power supply, analog) to satisfy those requirements.
• Update schematics, support layout changes and validate prototypes.
• Perform simulations, tolerance analysis and release designs in the product lifecycle management system.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, execute test plans and conduct design reviews.
• Create test specifications for mass‑volume production.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic circuit modification, design and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of circuit simulation and tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Communicative level of English and willingness to travel with a valid category B driver’s licence.
