Embedded Software Developer Intern – Security

About the role

Join NXP's embedded security software team in Brno, working on secure firmware, boot and update mechanisms, and cryptographic integration for next‑generation devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CI/CD components for embedded security software.
• Create unit and integration tests to verify product quality.
• Work with simulated environments, FPGAs, and actual hardware.
• Debug complex cross‑domain issues.

Required profile

• Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python, Jenkins/YAML, or batch scripting.
• Hands‑on embedded programming experience in C and enthusiasm for low‑level hardware work.
• Interest in embedded security and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong analytical mindset and reliable debugging skills for embedded targets.
• Effective communication in English, both written and spoken.
