EMC Design Engineer – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

About the role

Join Honeywell Aerospace as an EMC Design Engineer working on safety‑critical control units for eVTOL and eSTOL aircraft. You will develop hardware from prototype through qualification and validation testing in a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design electronic circuits with a focus on EMC, including EMI filters, power supplies, analog and digital sections.
• Perform EMC analysis such as RF emissions, RF susceptibility, and lightning protection, and create component models and layout analyses.
• Set up, conduct, and analyse EMC test data, applying standards like DO‑160.
• Bring‑up and debug circuits using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers and network vector analyzers.
• Collaborate closely with software, mechanical and systems engineering teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Electronics Engineering and English proficiency.
• Practical experience in circuit design, hardware bring‑up and using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Interest in RF techniques and EMC; advantage for experience with Xpedition, CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS or aerospace designs.
• Citizenship of an EU country, the UK or the US due to export restrictions.
