Employment Lawyer (Remote, Czech Republic)

About the role

XML International is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its in‑house legal team on a fully remote basis within the Czech Republic. The role involves providing practical legal support on Czech employment law, Employer of Record (EOR) matters, commercial agreements, GDPR, compliance and overall legal risk.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Advise on Czech employment and labour law, including EOR and agency‑employment models.
• Draft, review and negotiate employment‑related and commercial contracts.
• Support data‑protection, GDPR compliance and broader legal risk management.
• Prepare internal policies, legal opinions and other documentation.
• Monitor legislative developments and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Assist with disputes and litigation when required.
• Collaborate closely with HR and other internal teams on employment‑related issues.

Required profile

• Czech law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in employment law.
• Strong knowledge of Czech employment and labour legislation.
• Experience with commercial contracts, compliance and data‑protection matters.
• Familiarity with EOR or similar workforce models.
• Fluent in Czech and English.
• Currently residing in the Czech Republic.
