Engineering Manager / Senior Engineering Manager, Infrastructure Team

About the role

Bloomreach is looking for an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager to lead its Infrastructure team. You will own the platform capabilities that power personalization across client websites and mobile apps, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, cost‑efficiency and a great developer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, hire and mentor a high‑performing Infrastructure Engineering team.
• Define and execute infrastructure strategy for GCP services, Kubernetes platform, databases and observability stack.
• Provide cloud architecture guidance, shared standards and self‑service tooling to application teams.
• Drive reliability through SLO/SLI, incident management, post‑mortems and automation.
• Partner with Security, Compliance and Product teams to enforce best practices.
• Own financial governance of cloud costs, monitoring, optimization and accountability.

Required profile

• 5+ years in software/platform/infrastructure engineering with 2+ years of people leadership.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure teams in cloud‑native environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (compute, networking, IAM, storage, monitoring).
• Kubernetes production operations.
• Database operations (SQL/NoSQL, replication, backup/DR, tuning).
• Observability tooling and SRE practices.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) – nice to have.
• Service mesh, platform APIs – nice to have.
