Europe Senior Accountant

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Europe Senior Accountant to support finance processes across the region. You will be responsible for monthly management accounts, reporting, cash‑flow forecasting and budgeting, while ensuring compliance with tax, VAT and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial analysis and commentary in line with regional deadlines.
• Review AR and AP transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and maintain SOX control compliance where applicable.
• Produce weekly and monthly cash‑flow forecasts and support cash‑management activities.
• Assist with integration of new entities, including template creation, system set‑up and user‑access configuration.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting, providing supporting documentation.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects such as system implementations, acquisitions and cross‑border initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Europe Finance team and key stakeholders including RFD, RMD, RFC, Country MDs and cost‑centre leads.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or local equivalent) with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Czech.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multinational finance team.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of SOX control requirements.
