External Channel Manager – Orthopaedics

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an External Channel Manager for Orthopaedics to lead distributor relationships across the Baltics, Poland and the Czech Republic. The role focuses on driving sales growth through partner channels while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage distributor engagement, contract renewal and due‑diligence processes.
• Lead the transition to a distributor‑centric go‑to‑market model, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Generate accurate sales forecasts, align inventory with demand and support pricing/rebate governance.
• Oversee distributor product training and ensure regulatory compliance with HCC, Legal and Business Compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics, drive continuous improvement and support credit/rebate calculations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of MedTech business experience, with a proven record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in matrixed, cross‑functional environments.
