Fabric Consultant

About the role

Billigence is a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics & AI consultancy that delivers data‑driven outcomes for global customers. We are looking for a Fabric Consultant with a strong data‑engineering background to own end‑to‑end data platforms and work on customer projects across various industry verticals using Microsoft Fabric.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data platforms in Microsoft Fabric – Lakehouse, Data Factory, Pipelines, Warehouses, and OneLake integration.
• Own the full data flow end‑to‑end: ingestion, transformation, modeling and reporting.
• Architect clean, performant data models following medallion architecture and dimensional modeling best practices.
• Build and maintain automated pipelines that scale reliably with client needs.
• Partner with a Project Manager to translate business requirements into robust Fabric solutions and validate outputs with end users.
• Deliver Power BI reports and semantic models as the final analytics layer.
• Manage releases across dev/test/production using Azure DevOps, including Fabric deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on production experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, Pipelines, Warehouses, Dataflows Gen2).
• Strong SQL skills and solid command of data transformation and modeling concepts.
• Power BI expertise – DAX, Power Query, and semantic models.
• Track record of owning end‑to‑end data solutions, not just the reporting layer.
• Sharp analytical thinking and ability to quickly assess messy datasets.
• Confident communicator who can lead conversations with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in Fabric’s future – Copilot/AI features, governance, automation.
• Fluent in Czech and English.
