Finance Accountant / Controller – Prague

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Finance Accountant / Controller to join our Prague studio. The role will act as the primary finance business partner, supporting planning, analysis, reporting and decision‑making while ensuring compliance with Czech regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison with external accountants, payroll providers, tax advisors, auditors and local authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Czech accounting, tax and regulatory requirements and Group policies.
• Prepare and submit statutory filings, regulatory reports and manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement changes affecting finance and reporting processes.
• Partner with studio leaders on financial performance management, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of Czech financial, payroll and regulatory requirements.
• Professional experience in accounting with exposure to controlling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to work hands‑on, act as local finance expert and collaborate with global finance teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
