Finance Manager – ESO Gx

About the role

Sandoz is seeking a Finance Manager for the ESO Gx scope to lead financial planning, performance management and business partnering across its biosimilar and generic medicines portfolio. The role will translate operational assumptions into robust financial plans and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead target, forecast, outlook and strategic planning cycles, integrating volume, price, FX, productivity and supply assumptions.
• Coordinate standard‑cost estimates and product‑cost updates for externally manufactured products.
• Deliver accurate monthly reporting, forecasts and variance analysis, reconciling financial and operational data.
• Prepare performance reviews, business cases and decision‑support materials highlighting drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with ESO, Procurement and Supply Chain to monitor supplier performance and translate operational changes into financial implications.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration; professional finance qualification or advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in business finance, FP&A, controlling, manufacturing or supply‑chain finance.
• Experience with product costing, standard costing, forecasting, management reporting and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with external manufacturing, contract manufacturers and pharmaceutical procurement is strongly preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages relevant to the supplier network are advantageous.
