General Manager – Luxury Lifestyle Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a visionary General Manager to lead Andaz Prague, a 176‑room luxury lifestyle hotel located in the historic Sugar Palace. Reporting to the Head of Lifestyle Operations, EAME, you will be responsible for overall performance, profitability and the continued evolution of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction for the hotel, overseeing all departments including Rooms, Drinking & Dining and Events.
• Lead the annual business plan, budgeting, forecasting and cost‑management initiatives to drive revenue, market share and labour productivity.
• Identify and develop new concepts, programming, partnerships and experiences that enhance the hotel’s relevance to Prague’s cultural and creative community.
• Build trusted relationships with owners, Hyatt corporate leadership and local business partners, communicating performance and investment opportunities.
• Empower and develop the executive team and staff, fostering a culture of creativity, autonomy and succession planning.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in luxury or lifestyle hospitality, with deep knowledge of both Rooms and Food & Beverage operations.
• Proven commercial and financial acumen, delivering strong revenue growth, profitability and cost control.
• Track record of leading budgets, forecasts and business plans and translating them into measurable results.
• Creative mindset for uncovering new revenue streams through concepts, events and partnerships.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build open, trusted relationships with owners and corporate stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Czech language skills are highly valued.
