GL / RTR Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an GL / RTR Accountant to join our Group Finance Centre and manage accounting activities within the Record‑to‑Report process for Rohlik Group and related entities. You will work on month‑end closing, journal entries and account reconciliations across multiple entities while identifying ways to simplify and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your part of the month‑end closing process.
• Process regular journal vouchers.
• Work according to the closing calendar across multiple entities.
• Ensure timeliness and quality of account reconciliations.
• Handle routine and recurring accounting tasks independently.
• Resolve known accounting issues in cooperation with the Group Accounting Manager.
• Collaborate with other Finance teams across the Group.
• Contribute to KPI setting and performance management.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve the efficiency of RTR processes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of practical experience in Czech accounting or finance.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Studies or completed education in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, good organisation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams.
• Fluent Czech (mandatory) and advanced English for everyday written and spoken communication.
