Group System Administrator

About the role

Dr. Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. The Group level headquarters Dr. Max BDC is looking for a Group System Administrator to ensure the operation of our datacenter infrastructure services, including the cloud platform. You will set server and system parameters in line with corporate standards across Dr. Max countries and entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AWS cloud adoption project and migrations.
• Co‑operate with DevOps team to define AWS resources as IaaS.
• Manage datacenter infrastructure systems (installation, documentation, operation, backup, security, monitoring, patching, hardening).
• Maintain multi‑domain Active Directory and AD trusts.
• Operate Microsoft Windows server services such as PKI, file shares and Remote Desktop Services.
• Administer a multi‑cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OCI) with focus on AWS.
• Provide L2/L3 support for internal teams and business services.
• Handle day‑to‑day incidents, requests, changes and projects within SLA.
• Continuously improve infrastructure services and automation.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the AWS cloud platform.
• Experience in IT infrastructure administration and core services.
• Ability to design and implement technical solutions and best practices.
• Solid troubleshooting skills across network, firewall, storage and virtualization.
• Good written and oral communication in English and Czech or Slovak.
• Experience with scripting and automation (Infrastructure as Code) – basics required.
