Groups Specialist - German Speaking

About the role

The Groups Specialist provides end‑to‑end booking services for group customers, travel trade partners and internal sales teams. You will own group enquiries from the first request through confirmation and handover, ensuring a seamless experience for German‑speaking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of group enquiries and bookings, from qualification and quotation to operational handover.
• Coordinate capacity, pricing and commercial approvals with Revenue Management and other internal teams.
• Maintain accurate group records in Seaware and Salesforce, including allocations, fares, conditions and special requirements.
• Prepare professional quotations, monitor option dates, deposits and final balances, and proactively follow up to reduce booking risk.
• Handle amendments, cancellations and special requests in line with policies and authority levels.
• Resolve customer and partner issues, escalating complex cases when necessary.

Required profile

• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience in customer service, reservations, travel, hospitality or group sales (maritime or cruise experience is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively in an international team.
