Head of Analytics and Business Performance Management

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Analytics and BPM to lead Eurowag's analytics function and build a Business Performance Management capability from the ground up. This senior leadership role connects business intelligence, performance management, analytical diagnostics and self‑serve analytics across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the multi‑year analytics and BPM strategy, aligned with Data & AI themes and resilient to an SAP migration.
• Lead multiple teams through managers, hiring, developing and succession planning.
• Build and maintain the single executive scorecard on governed KPIs for ExCo, Board and investors.
• Establish the BPM operating rhythm – monthly executive reviews, quarterly deep dives and annual planning feed.
• Ensure KPI freshness SLAs, driver‑tree development and automated variance detection.
• Rationalise the reporting estate into a governed core and drive self‑serve adoption.
• Partner with Investor Relations and Finance to reconcile externally reported metrics.
• Maintain the function’s neutrality – no revenue or cost targets, single KPI calculation for all audiences.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading analytics, BI or FP&A‑adjacent functions at scale, including managing managers.
• Proven track record building performance‑management capability in a listed or regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose metric movements and defend findings to senior leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for executive review settings.
• Experience in multi‑country, multi‑entity environments, preferably post‑acquisition integration.

Required skills

• Modern Microsoft data stack – Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Power BI, semantic models.
• Dimensional modelling and scorecard design.
• Analytics and delivery tools – Power BI (or equivalent), JIRA, Confluence, Miro.
