Head of Operations – Multi-Branch Restaurants

About the role

This is a hands‑on operational leadership role overseeing performance across a growing multi‑location food‑service business. You will work directly with the CEO and lead managers across branches, focusing on execution, accountability, profitability, and scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and improve performance across multiple restaurant branches through Area Managers, Branch Managers, and shift leaders.
• Establish clear roles, operating standards, decision rights, escalation paths, audits, and daily/weekly management routines.
• Increase visibility into service, staffing, revenue, costs, margins and unit economics while holding managers accountable.
• Own the online customer journey from discovery to repeat purchasing, including ordering, delivery, issue resolution and retention.
• Develop pricing, promotions, bundles and budgets to support sales growth while protecting margins.
• Identify and eliminate profitability leaks, waste, bottlenecks and inefficient processes.
• Translate business problems into clear requirements for technology teams and validate new system outcomes.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in operations or business management, with proven leadership of multiple restaurant or food‑service locations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage managers, establish accountability and improve operational performance.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, food and labour costs, margins and unit economics.
• Experience launching, scaling or turning around a branch, brand or service unit is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working with data, dashboards and digital business tools.

• Advanced use of Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Building and interpreting dashboards.
• Working with AI tools and automation platforms.
• Designing digital workflows and reporting systems.
