HR Payroll Specialist (German-speaking, SAP) - Temporary

About the role

D-ploy, an IT and engineering solutions company operating across EMEA and the USA, is looking for a full-time, temporary HR payroll specialist based in Prague. The role supports the local payroll team and acts as a point of contact for employees and partners on payroll matters. It lasts initially for one year, with an expected extension, and only full-time employment is available.

Key responsibilities

• Support the local payroll team and sub-tasks related to payroll system implementation, including data reconciliation and checks, and define and implement processes
• Work closely with Hire2Retire and the internal Payroll team
• Act as the point of contact for the external payroll vendor, providing reports and working with outputs in line with internal controls
• Handle standard service requests and employee questions daily, mostly about payslips, tax discounts, payments and deductions related to benefits
• Contribute to P&O Services (payroll) projects at country or business unit level
• Act as a subject-matter expert for employees, leaders and people partners on payroll processes

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in time administration, payroll or personal administration (SSC environment is an advantage)
• Fluency in English and advanced German, spoken and written
• Candidates must provide a criminal record extract not older than three months

Required skills

• SAP is mandatory; Workday is a plus
• Experience in other HR disciplines such as compensation and benefits, HR business partner, learning or payroll is an advantage
• Proficiency with reporting and HR ticketing tools
