ICT Risk Assurance Specialist (f/m/d)

About the role

As part of the ICT Risk Management Control Function at Clearstream, you will help strengthen the organisation's resilience against technology and information security risks. The role blends technical expertise with risk‑assurance activities in a highly regulated financial market infrastructure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and support remediation of material technology and information security risks across the organisation.
• Analyse complex security challenges and provide practical technical recommendations.
• Conduct technical security reviews and report on key risk exposures and mitigation activities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and ensure they operate as intended.
• Support risk and vulnerability assessments of existing and planned information systems.
• Promote consistent implementation of information‑security and regulatory‑compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, security and business stakeholders to drive risk‑based security decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ICT risk management and assurance practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in security engineering, information‑security audits or a comparable cybersecurity role.
• At least 1 year of experience in the financial‑services sector or another highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of information‑security principles, technology‑risk management and security‑control frameworks.
• Ability to analyse complex IT environments and translate risks into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French; German is a plus.
