Infrastructure and Enterprise Engineer II

About the role

Expedia Group is building an AI Ops Engineering team to automate, monitor and scale AI‑enabled services on a cloud‑first AWS platform. As an Infrastructure and Enterprise Engineer II you will own the reliability, observability and security of AI‑driven production systems, ensuring they meet defined SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and optimize AI‑driven production services, handling incidents and on‑call duties.
• Develop and maintain automation, tooling and runbooks for deployment, change management, and recovery.
• Collaborate with software, data and ML engineers to support model‑serving infrastructure, APIs and data pipelines.
• Design and implement observability, resilience and capacity‑planning for AI‑related platforms.
• Apply metrics and data‑driven insights to reduce toil and improve scalability across domains.

Required profile

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering or related field.
• Professional experience operating production services with incident handling and on‑call participation.
• Strong background in DevOps, SRE or automation‑focused operations.
• Experience automating processes and managing infrastructure as code.
• Practical exposure to AI‑driven systems or model‑serving workflows.
