Inventory Deployment Specialist

About the role

The Inventory Deployment Specialist ensures product availability across AB InBev’s supply network by balancing inventory, service levels, and logistics costs. Working in an international environment, you will coordinate finished‑goods and empty‑container movements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate deployment of finished goods and empties across breweries, warehouses, co‑packing and external production sites.
• Create and manage stock transfer plans and orders to maintain product availability while balancing service, inventory, and cost objectives.
• Monitor inventory performance, identify risks related to stock availability, logistics constraints, warehouse capacity and product obsolescence.
• Take proactive actions to resolve inventory challenges and support business continuity.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Commercial, Finance and Operations stakeholders to ensure effective inventory management.
• Analyse key performance indicators, support root‑cause investigations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to operational projects, automation initiatives, process improvements and new system implementations.
• Support testing, deployment and stabilisation of new tools, processes and technologies.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, planning, scheduling or transportation.
• Good understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes and inventory management principles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with ability to translate data insights into actions.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, and experience using SAP.
• Knowledge of Power BI and planning tools such as O9 is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills in a multicultural environment.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Fluent English; additional European languages (French, German, Dutch) are beneficial.
