IT Operations Specialist - Brno

About the role

As an IT Operations Specialist at Vilgain, you will be the first line of support for colleagues across the company, ensuring device reliability and smooth network operation. You will work on‑site in Brno and support other locations as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, projectors and streaming devices across all Vilgain sites.
• Oversee warehouse and retail hardware such as printers, scanners and other endpoints to guarantee daily operational reliability.
• Administer Windows, Linux and Android systems, and manage VoIP phone infrastructure.
• Produce clear technical documentation and user manuals, and coordinate with hardware and software vendors.
• Provide on‑site assistance to colleagues in Prague offices and stores when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or operations.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to make independent decisions and improve processes.
• Patient, empathetic communicator able to support non‑technical staff.
• Fluent Czech for daily communication and advanced English for technical documentation.
• Resilient and flexible, able to prioritize in a fast‑moving environment and assist outside standard hours when critical.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux and Android operating systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and G‑Suite.
• Solid understanding of networking configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware diagnostics and repair.
• Setup and maintenance of VoIP phone systems.
