IT Support Team Leader

About the role

Dr. Max, the leading pharmacy chain in Europe, is looking for an IT Support Team Leader to join its headquarters in Prague. You will be the primary point of contact for internal IT support, driving process improvements and mentoring a team of support specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for request handling, incident resolution, and technical support for all Dr. Max employees.
• Lead, mentor, and train the IT support staff, fostering continuous learning and skill development.
• Monitor IT systems using monitoring tools and alerts, managing incidents and service requests efficiently.
• Administer end‑user environments including Windows 11, macOS, Microsoft 365 suite, and on‑premises services such as Active Directory, file shares, and Exchange.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and ensure compliance with IT security policies.
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle, vendor relationships, and contribute to budgeting, reporting, and technology evaluation projects.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in IT support or operations teams.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related authentication services.
• Broad technical knowledge of core infrastructure, including networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, security) and server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
• Professional fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
