Japanese‑Speaking Sales Manager – Automotive & Electronics

About the role

We are a Japanese trading company specializing in automotive and electronic components, seeking a Japanese‑speaking Sales Manager to join our Prague office. The role involves leading a small sales team, managing key accounts, and driving new business across European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a sales team of two members and ensure achievement of team objectives.
• Set individual and team sales targets, monitor pipeline activity, and manage quotations.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching on sales techniques, negotiation, and account management.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers while developing new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and plans for target customers, markets, and product groups.
• Manage key accounts, including customer visits, presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Support quotation and tender preparation and oversee the contract process.
• Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, finance, and technical teams to ensure timely fulfilment of customer requirements.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance reports for management.
• Travel to Germany, France, the UK and other markets as required.

Required profile

• Business‑level fluency in English and Japanese.
• Experience in sales within the semiconductor or related high‑tech industry.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Up to CZK 100,000 per month plus performance bonus.
