Junior GL Accountant – Finance Operations

About the role

The Junior GL Accountant will manage and maintain the company's financial records, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation and analysis of transactions while complying with accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end accrual journals and schedules.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance‑sheet accounts.
• Execute fixed‑asset transactions and related reconciliations.
• Assist with internal audit files at month‑end.
• Post accounting journals and support the preparation of group and statutory accounts.
• Help resolve year‑end audit queries and tax computation requests.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives for GL operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in finance shared services or a similar function.
• Fluency in English and Czech.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SAP/HFM or equivalent is a plus.
