Key Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive sales development across a portfolio of clients. Working closely with the Head of Accounts, you will build strong relationships, define sales strategies, and lead commercial initiatives that align with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities for assigned clients and develop customer plans that match the country’s commercial strategy.
• Build and maintain direct relationships with clients, lead negotiations, prepare contracts, and ensure successful implementation of promotional and commercial plans.
• Communicate channel strategies, provide market insights, and support local business development.
• Manage customer credit exposure, analyze account performance, and execute actions such as pricing optimization, promotional activities, events, and profit‑mix management.
• Oversee execution of agreed promotions, monitor competitor pricing, and maintain strong trade relationships.
• Prepare sales forecasts, track performance, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Category Management, and Finance teams to deliver commercial plans and achieve targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a comparable commercial role.
• Fluent in English with a proven track record of delivering sales results.
• Experience in category management, customer and channel marketing, and strong understanding of commercial principles.
• Solid knowledge of profit and loss (P&L) management and strong analytical abilities.
