Key Account Manager – Residential HVAC & District Heating

About the role

IMI Climate Control is seeking a Key Account Manager to grow its residential HVAC and district heating business in the Czech Republic. You will act as the primary liaison for housing associations, district heating operators, residential developers, property managers and installation partners, promoting energy‑efficient hydronic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and technical stakeholders.
• Create and execute account development plans targeting renovation, modernization and energy‑efficiency projects.
• Achieve sales and profitability targets for the residential market segment.
• Drive specification and adoption of IMI Climate Control products in new developments and district heating projects.
• Own the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through technical solution design, quotation, negotiation and closing.
• Initiate pilot projects that can be replicated across customer portfolios.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing key accounts in the residential or district‑heating sector.
• Strong understanding of housing association, property‑management and district‑heating market dynamics.
• Ability to develop long‑term partnerships with decision‑makers and technical experts.
• Track record of delivering sales targets and managing complex technical sales processes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hydronic heating and cooling systems.
• Familiarity with balancing and control valves.
• Understanding of thermostatic solutions, pressure maintenance and water‑quality applications.
