Kitchen Assistant – Hospital Food Service

About the role

Join the Food Service Department of Hořovice Hospital as a Kitchen Assistant. You will work alongside chefs and fellow assistants to ensure patients and staff receive nutritious meals in a safe, hygienic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs in cooking and preparing meals according to recipes.
• Follow strict hygiene regulations and keep the kitchen clean.
• Operate and help maintain kitchen equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to established work procedures.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship in Culinary Arts (or equivalent).
• Active knowledge of Czech for daily communication.
• Understanding of culinary standards and hygiene regulations.
• No criminal record and good health.
• Independent, responsible, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, including long and short weeks.
