Lead Electronic Design Engineer – Flight Control Actuation

About the role

Join Honeywell Aerospace’s Electro‑Mechanical Flight Control Actuation team to lead the design of safety‑critical control units for Urban Air Mobility aircraft. You will own the full product lifecycle, from requirements through verification, and work closely with project leadership and US teams to integrate hardware with actuators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an electronic hardware team of 8+ engineers developing control units for flight control actuation systems.
• Architect hardware box development and cooperate with system, mechanical, software, test services, and safety engineering groups.
• Create project estimates, plan execution, and ensure on‑time delivery of commitments.
• Distribute tasks, monitor progress, and report status to stakeholders and customers.
• Participate in hardware requirements specification and verification activities.

Required profile

• Solid engineering background in the electronics domain with at least 5 years of experience in full‑lifecycle hardware development (PBAs).
• Proven experience leading an electronic hardware team and taking responsibility for associated risks.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities; self‑starter motivated to work independently.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
