Lead Nurse – Clinical Research Nursing Supervisor

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Supervisor, Clinical Research Nursing, leading the nursing staff in technical operations to ensure proper coverage of clinical study activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage nursing staff including interviewing, selection, professional development, performance management, coaching, and handling separations.
• Approve salary administration, hiring decisions, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Review and approve time records, expense reports, leave requests, and overtime.
• Serve as a technical consultant for planning and executing study conduction workflows and setups.
• Oversee technical aspects of study conduction in the clinic, ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Prepare weekly‑to‑monthly schedules and assign study conduction tasks to meet clinic needs.
• Lead departmental staff meetings and participate in projects and department initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a relevant academic/vocational qualification.
• Registered Nurse in Czechia with no limitation to practice.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior nursing experience with leadership or mentorship exposure.
• Understanding of early‑phase clinical trials and ability to translate protocols into procedural tasks.
