Material Management Coordinator

About the role

The Material Management Coordinator ensures a smooth flow of materials across the supply chain, supporting production, logistics and customer deliveries. Working in an international environment, the role contributes to digitalisation and continuous improvement of supply‑chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee timely availability of materials for production and customer orders.
• Manage purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries.
• Identify and resolve material shortages, delays and other supply‑chain risks.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet delivery, quality and service targets.
• Monitor and optimise inventory levels, balancing material availability with working‑capital efficiency.
• Prepare forecasts, reports and analyses to support planning and decision‑making.
• Work with ERP and manufacturing systems, ensuring data accuracy across processes.
• Use data analysis to spot trends, improvement opportunities and preventive actions.
• Support digitalisation, automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in supply‑chain, material management, planning, purchasing, logistics or a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, customer‑oriented attitude with ownership of results.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑changing environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, reporting).
• Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Experience with AI tools for automation and data analysis.
• ERP systems experience, preferably SAP.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus.
