Medior SAP Basis Administrator

About the role

Join the SAP Platform Operations team to support global clients’ SAP landscapes across on‑premise, hyperscalers and private cloud environments, while participating in migrations and modernisation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day administration and support of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver, Fiori/Gateway and related components.
• Incident resolution, performance analysis and change management at the Basis level.
• Project activities such as system copies, kernel/SPS patching, database and OS upgrades, S/4HANA conversions and cloud migrations (Azure, AWS, GCP, RISE with SAP).
• Security patching, certificate renewals, system hardening and SSO/identity integration (SAML, Microsoft Entra ID).
• Backup/restore, disaster‑recovery testing and support for high‑availability setups.
• Monitoring configuration in SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager or third‑party tools.
• Automation of repetitive tasks using shell/PowerShell scripting and SAP Landscape Management.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with SAP Basis administration.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and certification.

Required skills

• SAP Basis, S/4HANA, SAP ECC, NetWeaver, Fiori/Gateway, Web Dispatcher.
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google GCP, RISE with SAP.
• Security: SAP Security Notes, SAML, Microsoft Entra ID.
• Scripting: shell, PowerShell, SAP LaMa.
• Monitoring tools: SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Focused Run.
