Product Owner - Senior Consultant

About the role

PwC Czech Republic is seeking a Senior Associate to act as Product Owner and AI enablement specialist for internal initiatives. You will guide squads toward AI‑assisted delivery, improve software development practices, and drive lightweight automation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and backlog for one or two internal products (templates, delivery tooling, AI‑assisted ways of working).
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and run refinement sessions with engineering and stakeholders.
• Advise squads on process, technology, and AI‑enabled delivery, providing options and recommendations.
• Challenge assumptions early, validate ideas with small‑scale prototypes, and transition successful solutions to delivery teams.
• Identify and implement high‑impact automations or lightweight prototypes, then hand over ownership.
• Conduct structured discovery sessions, gather evidence, and present concise recommendations.
• Demonstrate and coach responsible AI patterns within real squad work.
• Facilitate discussions with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, build alignment, and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Represent the offering through its lifecycle (pilot vs. sustained use) and discontinue work that does not deliver value.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in product ownership and software delivery improvement.
• Proven ability to manage roadmaps, backlogs, and user‑story creation.
• Strong analytical mindset to challenge assumptions and validate concepts quickly.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Willingness to work hybrid in Prague (≈2 days onsite, 3 remote) and travel up to 10% for workshops.
