Production Planner – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Solenis is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate manufacturing schedules and workflows, ensuring customer demand is met across Europe and the US. The role focuses on SAP‑driven analysis, OTIF improvement, and supply chain optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare production schedules, workflows, sequences, and lead times to meet shipping targets.
• Monitor and adjust plans, expediting delays and responding to unforeseen conditions.
• Analyse plant capacity and production data to optimise processes and resource allocation.
• Support OTIF and backorder analysis for Europe and the US, driving service‑level improvements.
• Manage SAP MRP data, master data settings and workflows to ensure planning accuracy.
• Produce strategic and tactical reports and perform root‑cause analysis with supply‑chain stakeholders.
• Support product transfers and identify supply‑chain optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in production planning, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proven problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally across Europe and the US.

Required skills

• SAP expertise (MRP, master data, workflows, planning tools).
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience with OTIF, backorder management and service‑level optimisation.
