Production Planning Support

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY CZECH REPUBLIC S.R.O. is looking for a colleague for its Production Planning Support position in Prague. The role supports the efficient operation of production so that customers receive their products on time, working with data, planning, cross-departmental coordination and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit production orders in internal systems
• Plan and coordinate production capacity according to current needs
• Order materials from suppliers and track availability
• Check material readiness and feasibility of production plans
• Release customer orders into production
• Prepare reports and supporting documents for production planning
• Work with production, purchasing, warehouse and other teams to keep production running smoothly and on schedule

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education, ideally in engineering, economics or logistics
• Systematic, careful work with data and good organisation and prioritisation
• Analytical and communication skills
• English is not a problem when working with documentation and colleagues
• Previous experience in production planning, logistics or supply chain is an advantage, not a requirement

Required skills

• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is an advantage
